Thank you for your interest in consigning at Boulder Arts & Crafts. Please note, we only accept handmade American crafts of high quality craftsmanship and
unique design suitable for display in a dense retail environment. We value our consignment program as an important addition to our store. For more information on the program, please send an email with "Application Inquiry" as the subject line to the Consignment Coordinator at baccapply07@qwest.net. As of June 2008 an Application Fee of $25.00 will be required. The first step of the application process is to read, print out and complete the Consignment Application PDF - making sure you agree to our terms.
You'll need Adobe Reader to open the pdf.
- POTTERY and Ceramics are reviewed April & October
- JEWELRY is reviewed March & September
- ALL OTHERS are reviewed
January, February, April, May, June, July, August, October, & November.
There are two options to submit digital images for review:
directly to our Consignment Coordinator OR
Upload images to our website (requires digital image management and web site navigation skills)

Registration:
- 1. Click on REGISTER on upper right
- 2. Fill in the Registration Form:
- Username: johnsmith (your account username)
- Full Name: John Smith
- Email: your email address
- Password: create your own password
- 3. Click Register and check your email. You will receive an email containing a link. You have to click this link to confirm and activate your account. This procedure is necessary to prevent account abuse.
Creating a Photo Album:-
1. Log-in with your user name and password
- 2. Select ADD ALBUM from the drop down menu in the left margin
- 3. In both NAME and TITLE boxes enter your first & last name
- 4. Disregard the SUMMARY and KEYWORDS input boxes. In the DESCRIPTION box, briefly describe your body of work, media used, and retail price range.
- 5. Click on CREATE to finish creating your album
Please Note: Do not change any other default album and image settings - it may inhibit our ability to properly review your work.
Uploading Images:-
1. Prepare your digital images to the following specs: 1920x1920 at 72dpi. Make the longest side of the image 1920 pixels. The rest of the image should be a background color - black or white. For example: If your image is vertical, format with black vertical bands on the left and right.
If your image is horizontal, format with black horizontal bands on the top and bottom.
- 2. You may only upload 5 images for review.
Please keep each file no more than 1.5 MB in size. You are limited to 8 MB total for all files.
- 3. Log-in to your account, select ADD ITEM from the menu in left margin and follow the instructions to upload
- 4. Include a brief description, dimensions and retail price of each item in the CAPTION field
- 5. Leave all other default settings.
Thank you for applying. The Consignment Coordinator will notify you in a timely fashion after the review committee has met. Albums & accounts at the application web site will be deleted soon after the review. |
