"I love working with metal because of the physical aspect involved. I continually gain inspiration from my capacity to create an impressive form of beauty and grace from a rigid sheet of metal. The combination of metal with images of women reflects personal themes for me - strength, solitude, vulnerability and individuality. These combinations are intuitive responses to the balance between masculine and feminine energies. The images originate from my memory and imagination and are developed through a series of sketches."
