"I have considered myself an artist ever since I made my first linoleum prints in third grade, carving lions, giraffes, and trees. I printed most of them in turquoise. Since then, I have worked in many different mediums: fiber, wood, clay and paint. Currently, I am collaging and painting in acrylics. I am mesmerized by the smoothness of the paint on thick watercolor paper. I love the layers of colors and patterns I can build up and the element of the unknown that the collage shapes and textures add to the mix. I am painting in a scale that seeks an intimacy with the viewer. My original paintings are mounted on hardboard boxes. Some images can be framed in shadowboxes by special arrangement. High quality giclee prints mounted on foam core are also available. Enjoy."
