Robin
Grabowski's glasswork designs are inspired by nature and the sense of
fun in the animals with which she surrounds herself. Her glass bowls
and plates are created individually by fusing layers of powdered glass
in a kiln. This flat fused layer is then slumped in a mold during a
second firing. Robin's stained glass windows are unique in that their
centerpiece and tiles are created by fusing many layers of glass in
the kiln. Fused pieces are then assembled together to make the final
window. Although design themes may be repeated, each piece is unique. <= back to Grabowski |
