Barbara wishes to capture in her art the luminous glow of a flower, the vibrant color in a shadow, and a moment in time.
She loves to work on location, surrounded by fields of poppies, the sense of wind in the trees, and the heat of the sun on her back.
As she paints, Barbara loves the sensation of one hue rubbing against another, of one color bringing out or subduing another as she works her compositions.
She hopes by experiencing her work it will help you remember and enjoy the sensations of the natural world as well.
