Barbara
has been in Boulder, Colorado, since it had one stoplight in 1949. She
started working exclusively with glass in 1975. Barbara has authored
five books on stained glass, one of which was co-authored with her husband
and involved touring England and Scotland to examine and record pub
sign designs for use by glass hobbyists. This was, of course, serious
work, with no merriment. Barbara has pioneered the free-form shape bounded
and reinforced by zinc strap, and decorated with brocade-inspired etched
patterns. She is also a recognized authority on calligraphic styles
