She is an avid camper and hiker. Her paintings are created from the photos she captures of the nature she loves. Harriet Peck Taylor is a children’s book author and illustrator. Her award winning books include: Secrets of the Stone, Two Days in May, Urlaq and the Northern Lights, When Bear Stole the Chinook, Brother Wolf, Coyote and the Laughing Butterflies and Coyote Places the Stars.
