Today’s Artist Spotlight is on jewelry designer Elizabeth Johnson. Elizabeth uses lampworking and pate de verre techniques to create her own unique method in her realism jewelry. Pate de verre is a technique of pressing glass powders into a mold and then kiln casting. It is one of the oldest forms of glass working. Literally translated it means glass paste.
