Lyn Bonde has been perfecting her methods in pottery since 1976. Her earthenware bread warmers are popular gift items for housewarming, wedding, holiday and every occasion in between. We also carry her low fire functional ceramic serving pieces.
Her studio is in a former horse barn in Boulder, shared with about eight other artists and three dogs. Stoneware, porcelain and raku have all been through her kilns, though now she works in terra cotta; a low fire red earthenware clay. The surface treatments are either a majolica glaze painted with oxides and stains, or colored slip brushed on and covered with a clear glaze.
Great gifts that fit into any table settings!
This pottery is safe for: warming food in low to medium oven temperature (not safe for dishwasher or microwave).
March 14, 2020: Boulder Arts and Crafts has made the difficult decision to close the gallery until further notice in order to practice social distancing. All of our staff are healthy, and we hope to keep them well. In closing, we hope to help many others stay safe.
Although we are not open for regular business, we will be checking in each day. Please email or call if we can help you with anything. Our website is open as well. As long as the post office and UPS remain in service, we can ship you something beautiful.
