		"My work is influenced by ethnic cultures: African, Aboriginal, and Native American. I have been a fiber artist for 17 years and have a Master of Fine Arts in fiber design. My interest in handmade paper stems from a need to work fast, and paper allows this. The embellishment is not as fast, yet very satisfying. No two pieces are alike; each piece is hand stitched and painted. Materials include abaca (from the banana plant) found objects, beads, paint, and silk."
	BILL ERVIN
		Bill's training in Biology, and his field research on birds and other animals has provided him with a special insight into their behavior and relationship to the natural world. The beauty of wild places has always appealed to his artistic eye and sparked his ongoing interest in landscape photography. Over the years Bill has developed an extensive collection of local imagery and is continually inspired by the beauty of our natural surroundings here in Boulder county. After nearly two decades as a full time photographer, Bill has developed both a national reputation and a strong local following.
	ANNE GIFFORD
		Anne has resided in Boulder, Colorado since 1976. Whether you have lived in Boulder for years, are a recent transplant, or are just visiting, you won't have to look far to see examples of Anne's art in the community. She has been the poster artist for the Boulder Bolder 10k Race for three years. Her serigraphs are hand printed in limited editions. Anne's prints have from 9 to 30 different colors (each individually printed) per image. For the past five years Anne has been working in watercolor as well and currently makes her own archival gicleé prints of these images. Each silkscreen and gicleé print is individually signed and numbered.
	ALAN KLUG
		"These photographs are an attempt to record the varietal richness of Western Civilization, much of which is being lost. On another level, the photographs are about a personal kind of memory - an attempt to realize on paper not what a scene looked like, but what it felt like. As an exhibiting photographer, I feel that I should make my own prints rather than having a lab do it. I make my own prints; I use no assistants."
	BARBARA KORNFELD
		"I work primarily in watercolor and pastel, preferring to work from life in order to capture the light and feeling of my subject. Direct observation and study are my best teachers. I love to work outside on beautiful sunlit days, with the color and feel of nature all around me. I am a teacher as well as an artist, teaching both children and adults privately and through the Community School Program in Boulder."
	HARRIET PECK-TAYLOR
		Harriet's medium is batik. It differs from traditional batik in that dyes are painted directly on the fabric using water color brushes. Wax is then applied with a janting tool and acts as a resist to the dyes which are then painted over the wax. Harriet is the author and illustrator of several children's picture books. Her unique and whimsical style is inspired by her love of animals, as they reflect that part of nature that is wild and full of life. Harriet says about her work, "My work reflects a playful approach to the world. A jackrabbit flies through the sky, bears dance under the moonlight, and fish may fly- the animals call out to the child that is in all of us."
	SUE RIGDON
		These black and white photographs are a collaboration between Boulder photographers Sue Rigdon and her husband Bill Ervin. Both photographers were originally trained as biologists- Sue as a botanist and Bill as a zoologist. They spend countless hours observing and studying nature, and their combined experience in the outdoors gives them a deep understanding and appreciation of the natural world.
